RSS feeds

Just experimenting with RSS feeds. A couple of questions.

Is it a feature of WordPress that the Articles and Comments feeds are separated? This seems a little confusing.

I’ve tried a few RSS readers and none apart from the very basic Firefox support seems able to access the Mutators feeds. Some (Google) fail because they don’t understand authentification, others (JetStream Omega) have an authentification details panel, but still can’t find the feed. Any ideas?

hello from france… the rss suppot is basic and as far as i know does not (yet) include comments… this is in fact handy to protect content for now… on my return I will load another plugin so that all pages and posts in certain catergories e.g. biology will become public, wordpress is the most customizable platform but it will take several steps to adapt to all our various needs… back in a week and a half!!
