This site primarily details the research and teaching activities of
Dr James Ohene-Djan, a lecturer at the Department of Computing of
Goldsmiths College, a college of the University of London.
My research interests are in the areas of Personalisable,
Adaptive Hypermedia Systems, Advanced Learning Technologies, Assitive technologies for the Deaf
and Information visualisation.
I am head of the Assistive technologies group at Goldsmiths college
and am organiser of the International Workshop
on Advanced Learning Technologies for Disabilities.

I am currently responsible for the planning, design and presentation of
a 1st year undergraduate course Information Systems :
The foundation of E-Business and, the 3rd year undergraduate
course Electronic Commerce. My teaching activities include the
planning and presentation of lectures and study tutorials,
the setting of examinations and the management of students
and personal tutees. Additionally I am responsible for the
supervision of 3rd year computer science projects.
